When the kingdom fell, the Executioner's guilt bound its soul to an eternal sentence of its own: to wander the ruins, forever seeking absolution through the only craft it ever knew. Its phantom axe is said to sever not just flesh, but the ties between a soul and its body — those slain by the Wraith Executioner do not rest easily.
