Lore
Traded through the remaining resale shops in the neighborhoods that kept their shelves stocked past the fashionable years, usually in unlabeled lots of five or six. Playing the tape requires an honest deck, an honest deck is difficult to find, and the tape has a way of making the deck sound worse afterward for anything else you play. Collectors who own more than one copy have learned not to store them on the same shelf.
