Pale coral-colored broth hides chunks of lobster tail and root vegetable under a slow-rising film of butter, the whole bowl served so hot that the spoon fogs briefly against the rim. First taste is sweet, second taste is briny, third is whichever memory the cook accidentally filed into the stock.

Restores large health, boosts regeneration, and grants temporary sea affinity.
Lobster Soup is a delicacy of warmth and memory. Cooked low and long, this dish not only restores major health, but also boosts regeneration and links the consumer briefly to the rhythm of the tides.
Best enjoyed in silence or after battle, be sure to catch more lobsters
“The soup tasted like home… even though I’ve never lived in the ocean.”
- Journal scrap, post-shipwreck survivor
It’s said the soul of the lobster remains in the broth and it remembers.
Left too long, it spoils into Rotten Food.

Chronicle
Simmered overnight in the back of the harbor-road inn by a cook who has never once allowed a visitor into her kitchen, over a stock that has been refreshed rather than restarted for the better part of a decade. The rare roots come up from the tidal flats at the lowest spring tides, and the inn's regular forager will not disclose which bed she harvests. Bowls are served with a slice of dark bread and the explicit understanding that refills will be considered, not promised.
Prepared using ancestral cooking methods, this soup connects landfolk to ocean memory. Served in coastal shrines and submarine kitchens alike. Art by KBVE Pixel Workshop.
