Clear as window glass in a squat bottle with a waxed paper label, the seal intact, the cap threaded tight enough that it breaks the pour on the first half-turn. Colder in the hand than the room it was brought in from, which the bar regulars take as confirmation of the distiller's claim.

Vodka is a spirit with a purpose. It’s not just for drinking, can be a fuel, a disinfectant, a makeshift Molotov ingredient, or a bribe in the right circles.

Drinking it boosts strength and makes you ignore pain, but at the cost of coordination and clarity.

Distilled in both frozen wastelands and corporate bunkers. Used in rituals, bartering, and firebombs.

  • Grants +3 strength
  • Reduces incoming damage by 2
  • Lowers focus by -1 for 120 seconds
  • Cooldown: 60 seconds
  • Can be used in crafting Molotov Cocktails, Sterilized Kits, and Sauce Variants
  • Has hidden affinity with slavic or hardened NPCs
  • Dangerous to stack with other alcoholic consumables

“He drank. The bullet hit. He didn’t care. That was the power of vodka.”

  • From the Brotherhood of the Flask, Entry 18

Ancient and modern. Crude and pure. Vodka exists in every timeline that dared to ferment.

Chronicle

Lore

Run out of a small distillery behind the granary, using grain that fails the baker's standard and would otherwise go to feed. The master's single rule is that nothing flavored leaves the still under his name, which has held across two sons and a difficult nephew. A bottle on the shelf above the bar is the house's quiet vote of confidence in the bartender, and a bottle in the private drawer is the bartender's vote of confidence in a regular.
