Curved canine tooth the length of a thumb, ivory at the root and stained tea-brown at the tip from a lifetime's use. Lighter than it looks, with a hairline stress-line running along the inside curve.
Entry
Chronicle
Pulled one at a time from the jaws of grey wolves at the skinner's bench, and sold in small paper twists of six or eight. Bone-carvers use them for knife handles, amulet-makers use them for the kind of charms the temple frowns on, and duelists' lanyards run the best ones as counting tokens on a waxed cord. The fang keeps its edge better than most smiths would like to admit.
