Stackable
A slender steel pick blued from the forge, its tip ground fine enough to feel a single pin set, its grip wrapped in waxed cord. Springs back true after a bend that would have finished an iron one.
Entry
The Steel Lockpick opens every lock there is, masterwork included. It rarely snaps, which is the whole of its price.

Chronicle
Made by a handful of locksmiths who also make the masterwork locks it is meant for, and who consider that the joke is on whoever buys both. They are sold one at a time, never by the bundle, and the seller remembers the face. A steel pick kept in a boot is supposed to be bad luck; most thieves keep one there anyway, because a boot is the last place anyone searches.
