Chronicle
Struck in the basement mint beneath the treasury, on dies that are renewed every third year and never quite match the coin before them. Used everywhere in the lower markets and respected nowhere in the upper ones, which is a distinction most people only learn by trying. A handful will feed a traveler through a long day on the road, and a heavy pouch will do very little to get you past a competent gatekeeper.
