Tower

Single-hex spire. The base flares for stability, the shaft rises in stone coursed by horizontal mortar seams, and a parapet with crenellations caps it. Three torches burn at the top — centre and both sides — so a Tower reads across the map even at night. A small pennant trails from the parapet in faction colour.

Tower

Standalone defensive spire with stone shaft, parapet, crenellations, and a lit torch crown — scout vision and ranged deterrent.

A Tower is a silhouette argument. Raised on the right ridge, it tells every traveller whose border they just crossed before they meet a single guard. Empires measure their confidence in how many Towers they can afford to leave un-manned — the structure alone doing diplomatic work the garrison never needs to.
