The first Outposts in any campaign are raised by hand in a single day, while the mortar is still setting. Soldiers cut stone, mix lime, and stand watch in shifts. By sundown the tower is tall enough to defend and by sunrise the flag is flying. Speed matters more than finish — an Outpost can be refined after it’s already shooting arrows.
