Capital
Capital
Section titled “Capital”Claimed with a Land Grant scroll, the Capital unfurls in a heartbeat — walls, banners, a tile-roofed keep, and a treasury pool all at once. It anchors the empire’s first hex, emits a territory radius that lets other buildings plant themselves in its shadow, and feeds every villager who wanders in hungry. Nothing else in the empire exists without it.
Capital

Section titled “Game Role”- Founding structure — placed by the King unit from personal inventory, no construction phase. Spawns fully built and staffed.
- Footprint — claims the centre hex plus all six axial neighbours (7-hex flower). Every neighbouring tile is considered part of the Capital for pathing and territory.
- Territory emitter — radius-5 Player territory disc so farms, barracks, and production buildings have somewhere legal to plant.
- Services — provides Food (priority 1) and Sleep (capacity 10). Hungry / tired units path here by default.
- Production — passive recipes (Timber→Plank, Stone→Brick). No tender required.
- Storage — stockpiles every item the empire produces through the shared bank ledger. All surplus from other buildings ships here.
- Durability — 600 HP, the sturdiest structure in the roster. Repaired by Builders pulling materials from its own stockpile.
The Land Grant scrolls predate every living king. Whoever signs one binds an entire civilization’s worth of brick, timber, and iron to a single hex on the day the ink dries — an obligation paid forward by centuries of anonymous masons. The scroll is the only acknowledged method for a monarch to begin a kingdom from nothing, and every kingdom’s first act is to plant one.
