The chaos talisman lets a member enter the Chaos Altar in the Wilderness, just north-west of Edgeville, and is one of the talismans used to bind raw essence into chaos runes. Most players quickly convert their first talisman into a chaos tiara so the altar can be entered with a single click and the inventory slot can be freed for essence. The talisman drops commonly from chaos druids and abyssal creatures, making it an early money-maker for chaos rune farmers.
