Found In

  • Trial Chambers — Weathered and oxidized copper blocks generate naturally as part of trial chamber structures.
  • Player-aged Copper Block — Any placed, unwaxed Copper Block eventually oxidizes into this stage over real time.

FAQ

What tool do I need to mine Weathered Copper?

A stone pickaxe or better. Without one, the block breaks but drops nothing.

Will Weathered Copper keep oxidizing?

Yes, it will eventually progress to fully Oxidized Copper unless waxed with a honeycomb.

Can I reverse its oxidation?

Yes, scraping it with an axe reverts it one stage to Exposed Copper, and a lightning strike fully deoxidizes it back to plain Copper Block.

Does Fortune increase drops when mining it?

No. Copper blocks always drop exactly one of themselves regardless of Fortune.
