Uses

  • Cut Copper & Variants — Can be cut at a stonecutter or crafted into Oxidized Cut Copper, slabs, stairs, doors, trapdoors, grates, and bulbs, all sharing the same weathered finish.
  • Copper Golem builds — Used as a structural component when building a copper golem, which itself oxidizes and eventually turns to a statue.

Found In

  • Weathering — An unwaxed Block of Copper left exposed long enough progresses through Exposed and Weathered before reaching Oxidized.
  • Trial Chambers — Naturally generates at the oxidized stage as part of some trial chamber structures.

FAQ

What tool do I need to mine Oxidized Copper?

A stone pickaxe or better. Mining with wood, gold, or bare hands destroys the block with no drop.

Does Oxidized Copper keep oxidizing further?

No. Oxidized is the last of the four stages — it stops changing unless the process is reversed.

How do I stop or reverse the oxidation?

Apply honeycomb to wax it and lock in the current look. An axe scrapes off one oxidation stage per use, and lightning strikes fully de-oxidize it back to plain copper.

Can I get Oxidized Copper without waiting?

Yes — some trial chamber structures generate with copper already at the oxidized stage, skipping the wait.
