The MIT License is a short, permissive open-source license. It allows anyone to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, or sell copies of the licensed software, provided the original copyright notice and permission notice are included in all copies or substantial portions.

Components in the KBVE monorepo that are released under the MIT License include select Bevy packages, shared utility crates, and npm packages. Each component’s Cargo.toml or package.json specifies its license field. When a component does not specify a license, it falls under the EULA by default.
