Onyx amulet (u) is the unstrung output of the highest non-Zenyte amulet recipe, crafted at level 90 Crafting by using a Gold bar with an Onyx and an Amulet mould at any furnace. The craft awards 165 Crafting experience and is the bottleneck step in the Amulet of fury production line: the unstrung amulet still needs a ball of wool to become an Onyx amulet, after which Lvl-5 Enchant turns it into the Amulet of fury. Despite the steep Onyx cost, players sometimes craft and bank the unstrung form because the GE buy limit on the unstrung version (10,000 per 4 hours) is significantly more generous than the limit on raw Onyx gems for bulk Fury production runs.
