Noxious halberd is the highest-tier crafted halberd in Old School RuneScape, assembled at 72 Smithing and 72 Crafting from three Araxxor-drop sub-components (Araxyte head, Noxious blade, and Noxious pommel). It boasts the fastest attack cadence in its weapon class at 5 ticks rather than the typical 7-tick halberd cycle and retains the two-tile attack range characteristic of polearms, making it the best-in-slot AOE melee weapon for slayer tasks, Nightmare Zone, and any multi-target PvM where venom uptime matters. Its passive 33% envenom-on-hit chance applies world venom on non-immune targets, and the Virulence special attack converts a curing 50% energy sip into a guaranteed minimum-hit boost on the next swing equal to whatever poison or venom damage would have been suffered.
