Marigold seed is the first flower seed unlockable in Farming, plantable at level 2 for 8.5 Farming XP. One seed grows a marigold plant after 20 minutes, and a fully grown marigold protects nearby allotments of potatoes, onions, and tomatoes from disease without any gardener payment. Marigolds are also a Herblore secondary for guthix balance potions.
