Iron dart tip is an intermediate ranged crafting material: smith one iron bar at level 19 Smithing for 25 experience to produce 10 tips, then attach feathers at level 22 Fletching for 3.8 XP per dart. The Tourist Trap quest is required before any dart tip can be smithed. Iron darts are a popular early-Slayer thrown weapon, and tip flipping is one of the simplest break-even Smithing/Fletching routes.
