Defence mix(1) is the single-dose form of the barbarian herblore Defence mix, a hybrid potion that pairs a defence boost of floor(level / 10) + 3 with 6 Hitpoints restored per dose. It is made by combining a Defence potion(2) with caviar at level 33 Herblore for 25 XP.

Like all barbarian mixes, the potion requires the Barbarian Training subquest sections to be available, and the dual-effect makes it convenient for low-tier slayer or combat tasks where free healing is welcome.
