"Crossbow bolts with broad tips."

Broad bolts are the standard Slayer-locked crossbow ammunition needed to kill Turoth and Kurask with ranged. They require 55 Slayer and 61 Ranged to wield and fire from the rune, dragon hunter, dragon, Armadyl, and Zaryte crossbows. With plus 100 ranged strength they hit roughly as hard as adamant bolts at a fraction of the price, making them popular budget training ammo even outside their Slayer use case.

Players obtain broad bolts from Slayer masters at 35 reward points per 250 bolts, or fletch them at 55 Fletching from unfinished broad bolts and feathers for 30 XP per 10. The fletching path requires the "Broader fletching" unlock from any Slayer master at 300 reward points. At 76 Fletching they can be upgraded into amethyst broad bolts for higher damage.
