"A finely balanced throwing knife."

Black knife is a members-only thrown weapon requiring 10 Ranged, slotting in between Steel knife and Mithril knife with slightly better ranged accuracy and strength than steel. Unlike most metal knives the black variant cannot be smithed and is only obtained as a drop from monsters such as Banshees and certain Treasure-Trail bandits, which keeps stock thin and the GE price volatile.
