Weathered Chiseled Copper

Weathered Chiseled Copper is the third of four oxidation stages of the ornamental chiseled copper block, showing a green-tinged patina over its carved surface. It can be crafted by stacking two matching cut copper slabs, cut directly from stonecutting, or found in trial chambers. An axe scrapes it back to the exposed stage, while honeycomb waxes it to halt any further weathering.

FAQ

What stage of oxidation is Weathered Chiseled Copper?

It is the third of four stages, appearing after exposed copper and just before the fully oxidized stage.

How do I stop it from oxidizing further?

Apply honeycomb to wax the block, which permanently locks it at the weathered stage and prevents it from progressing to oxidized.

Can I reverse it back to an earlier stage?

Yes. Scraping it with an axe removes one stage of oxidation, turning weathered chiseled copper back into exposed chiseled copper.

Does it have any redstone or functional use?

No, it is purely decorative, though placing a note block on top of it produces a distinctive trumpet sound useful in redstone music builds.
