Kill an evoker in a woodland mansion or during a raid. Evokers always drop exactly one totem, and Looting does not increase it.
How does the totem save me from death?
It must be held in your main hand or offhand. When lethal damage would kill you, the totem is consumed, revives you at 1 health, and grants brief buffs.
Does it work in the hotbar?
No. The totem only activates while actively held in the main hand or offhand slot, not merely sitting in your inventory.
Can it stop every kind of death?
No. It cannot save you from the void, the /kill command, or some effects that apply after activation, so it is not a guaranteed safety net.
