FAQ
How do I get netherite scrap?
Mine ancient debris (usually between Y 8 and Y 24 in the Nether) and smelt it in a furnace or blast furnace. Each block of ancient debris yields one scrap.
What is netherite scrap used for?
Only one thing: crafting netherite ingots. Combine 4 netherite scrap with 4 gold ingots in a crafting grid to make one ingot.
Where does ancient debris spawn?
Ancient debris generates throughout the Nether, most commonly around Y 15. Blast mining with beds or TNT at that depth is a fast way to find it.
Is netherite scrap renewable?
No. Ancient debris does not regenerate, so netherite scrap is a non-renewable, limited resource.
