FAQ

Why don't husks burn in daylight like other zombies?

Husks are one of the few undead mobs immune to burning in sunlight, letting them roam desert biomes even during the day.

What happens if a husk goes underwater?

After 30 seconds submerged, a husk begins converting into a normal zombie, a process that takes an additional 15 seconds and cannot be stopped.

What effect do husks inflict when they attack?

Husks apply the Hunger effect to any player or mob they hit with a melee attack, unless the husk is holding an item in its main hand.

What do husks drop when killed?

They drop 0-2 rotten flesh, and rarely iron ingots, carrots, or potatoes; camel-riding husks also have a 50% chance to drop a rabbit's foot.
