Chainmail boots have no crafting recipe. The only ways to get a pair are mob drops, trading with an armorer villager, or a Hero of the Village gift.
Are chainmail boots worth using?
They only give 1 armor point, the same as leather boots, but their much higher durability makes them a decent early-game stopgap before iron armor.
How do I repair damaged chainmail boots?
Repair them on an anvil with iron ingots, each restoring 25% durability, or combine two damaged pairs together for a repaired pair with a small durability bonus.
Can chainmail boots be enchanted?
Yes. They accept the normal boot enchantments, including Protection, Feather Falling, Depth Strider, Frost Walker, Soul Speed, Unbreaking, and Mending.
