FAQ

Does the waxed weathered copper grate still oxidize further?

No. Waxing with honeycomb locks it at the weathered stage permanently.

What tool do I need to mine it?

A stone pickaxe or better; lower tools or bare hands break it without a drop.

Does it conduct redstone or let mobs spawn on it?

It does not conduct redstone signals, and mobs cannot spawn on top of it, making it useful for safe walkways.

Can it be waterlogged?

Yes, like other grates it can hold water while still letting the block function normally.
