FAQ

What tool do I need to mine a Water Cauldron?

Any wooden pickaxe or better. Mining it without a pickaxe drops nothing.

Does mining it keep the water?

No. Mining a Water Cauldron with a pickaxe drops the empty cauldron item; the water is lost.

How full can a Water Cauldron get?

It fills in three levels. A water bucket fills it fully in one use; rain and dripstone fill it gradually one level at a time.

Can I use it to fill bottles or bowls?

Yes, a full Water Cauldron can refill empty glass bottles and is used by leatherworker villagers as a job site block.
