Lapis Lazuli — Mine without Silk Touch to collect 4-9 lapis lazuli per block, used for dye, enchanting table crafting, and the enchanting cost at anvils and enchanting tables.

Overworld underground — Generates in two vein batches, most commonly around Y=0, ranging from Y=-64 to Y=64.
Stone and deepslate — Replaces stone, andesite, diorite, granite, tuff, or deepslate depending on depth.
