- Ambient Lighting — Place on a solid block's top or bottom face for a bright, hanging or standing light source that also melts snow within 2 blocks and ice within 3 blocks.
- Soul Lantern — Crafting a torch with soul soil or soul sand at the center instead of coal produces a Soul Lantern, a blue-tinted, dimmer variant found in Nether structures.
