minecraft:end_gatewayThe End Gateway is an indestructible portal block ringed by bedrock. It teleports entities either to the outer End Highlands islands, or back to the central End island, depending on where the gateway was generated.

- Central End island — Up to 20 gateways spawn around the edge of the main island, one at a time, each time the ender dragon is defeated again.
- End Highlands (outer islands) — Naturally generates throughout the outer End islands, teleporting entities back to the central End platform when entered.
FAQ
Can End Gateway be mined or obtained?
No. It has no drops and cannot be broken in Survival; even removing it in Creative still allows entities to enter the linked gateway on the other end.
How do I enter an End Gateway?
Throw an ender pearl into it, fly into it with an elytra, or swim through it in a water channel — players are too large to walk directly into the 1-block gap.
Where does an End Gateway send me?
Central-island gateways send you to the outer End Highlands; gateways found on outer islands send you back to the central End platform.
How many End Gateways can exist around the main island?
Up to 20, spawned one at a time each time the ender dragon is respawned and defeated again, at Y=75 roughly 96 blocks from the center.
