Without Silk Touch it drops the four pottery sherds or bricks used to craft it (or nothing if it generated naturally with generic sides). With Silk Touch it drops itself intact, including any stored items.

Can I get specific pottery sherds back from it?

Yes, if crafted from sherds, breaking it without Silk Touch returns those exact sherds; a pot made purely from bricks drops plain bricks instead.

How do I store and retrieve items from a Decorated Pot?

Right-click with an item to insert one, and right-click again to remove one; a hopper below or beside the pot can also automate insertion and extraction.

Is the Decorated Pot flammable or blast resistant?
