FAQ
How do I get Dead Tube Coral to keep as an item?
Mine it with a tool enchanted with Silk Touch. Without Silk Touch, the block breaks instantly and drops nothing.
Can Dead Tube Coral be brought back to life?
No. Once coral dies it stays dead permanently; there is no way to revert it to a living coral block.
Does Fortune increase the drops?
No. Fortune has no effect on coral blocks — only Silk Touch matters for obtaining the item.
What is Dead Tube Coral used for?
Purely decoration and building, most often in aquarium or reef builds, since it does not support sea pickles or other living coral behavior.
