FAQ

Do I need Silk Touch to collect Dead Bubble Coral?

Yes. Without a Silk Touch enchanted pickaxe (Java Edition) or any Silk Touch tool (Bedrock Edition), mining it drops nothing.

What must it be placed on?

Like living coral, it must sit on top of a solid block; if that support block is removed, the coral breaks.

Can dead coral be revived?

No. There is no way to turn dead coral back into a living coral plant.

Does random tick suppression stop the death transformation?

No. Coral still dies and converts to its dead form even when random ticks are disabled via game rules.
