FAQ
What tool do I need to mine Crimson Button?
Any tool works, and it can even be broken by hand — it has only 0.5 hardness. An axe is fastest.
Does Crimson Button burn in lava or fire?
No. Being made from Nether wood, it is non-flammable and immune to fire and lava, unlike Overworld wood buttons on Bedrock Edition.
How long does the redstone signal last?
A manual press activates the button for 1.5 seconds (15 redstone ticks). Arrows or tridents keep it powered until they despawn.
Can it be used as furnace fuel?
No. Unlike Overworld wood buttons, Nether wood buttons (Crimson and Warped) do not work as smelting fuel.
