What drops when I break a Cake with Candle?

Nothing. Like a plain cake, it cannot be recollected even with Silk Touch — breaking it destroys both the cake and the candle.

Can I still eat the cake with the candle on it?

No. Once a candle is placed on a cake, the cake can no longer be eaten; it becomes purely decorative until broken.

Does the candle go out if I break the cake?

Breaking the block destroys both parts together, so there is nothing left to relight.
