Andesite is an igneous stone block that generates in large blob deposits underground. Its mottled gray coloring makes it a popular neutral building stone, and it is the base ingredient for polished andesite and its derived shapes.

  • Overworld stone blobs — Generates in blob deposits, roughly two attempts per chunk from Y=0-60, tapering off up to Y=128.
  • Piglin bartering chain — Obtainable renewably via quartz-diorite-andesite crafting from bartered gold.
