FAQ

What tool do I need to mine Amethyst Cluster?

Any pickaxe works and mines it fastest; without a pickaxe it still breaks but yields fewer shards.

What does Silk Touch do to Amethyst Cluster?

Silk Touch drops the cluster block itself intact, letting you replant it elsewhere, instead of breaking it into shards.

Does Fortune affect Amethyst Cluster drops?

Yes. Fortune increases the number of amethyst shards dropped when mined without Silk Touch, up to higher yields at Fortune III.

Can I farm Amethyst Cluster infinitely?

Yes. Budding amethyst continuously regrows buds into full clusters over time, making it a renewable source of amethyst shards.
