Unholy symbol is the Zamorakian counterpart to the holy symbol, providing the same +8 Prayer bonus but with offensive bonuses (+2 across all attack styles) instead of defensive ones. It occupies the neck slot, weighs 0.007 kg and requires 31 Prayer to equip.
Players craft the symbol in three steps: cast a silver bar with the unholy mould at a furnace (16 Crafting, 50 XP), string the unstrung symbol with a ball of wool (4 XP), then bless the unpowered symbol with an unholy book or book of balance after reaching 50 Prayer. The blessing step requires the player to have completed appropriate book-of-balance content; budget prayer trainers usually go with the holy symbol instead.
