Stretched hide is a Fremennik-themed hide dropped by the level 88 ranged dagannoths in the Waterbirth Dungeon. Players bring one stretched hide, two regular dagannoth hides, and 7,500 coins to Sigli the Huntsman in Rellekka to craft spined chaps after completing The Fremennik Trials.

Pre-quest, the hide can also be traded to Askeladden for cooked tuna; post-quest, the trade upgrades to cooked lobster. The item itself is not gated by the quest and can be banked beforehand.
