The sigil of the rigorous ranger is a tier 1 Deadman Mode combat sigil introduced with the Deadman: Reborn season in August 2021. Once attuned via the "Attune" option, the sigil grants a flat +20 ranged accuracy bonus and a 50% chance to save ammunition on every ranged shot except chinchompas.

Players can keep up to three sigils active simultaneously, mixing ranged, melee and magic effects to fit their build. The rigorous ranger is the standard pick-up for early-season DMM ranged accounts because the accuracy floor smooths out missed hits before pegasians, max gear, or higher-tier sigils come online.

Outside of temporary Deadman Mode events the sigil cannot be obtained. During recent seasons (Deadman: Annihilation) unattuned copies can be purchased from the skull shop, while older seasons distributed them as monster drops with on-GE tradeability before deactivation.
