Shears are a free-to-play tool used to obtain wool from sheep, found in various locations across Gielinor. They are the only item used to shear sheep and are sold by all general stores for 1 coin. Shears are also required for the Sheep Shearer quest and A Tail of Two Cats. Lumbridge sheep pens are the most popular early-game shearing location.
