"A deep sense of suffering burns within this powerful ring."

The Ring of suffering is the best-in-slot defensive ring in Old School RuneScape, granting +20 to every defensive stat (stab, slash, crush, magic, ranged) at 75 Hitpoints. It is made by casting Lvl-7 Enchant on a Zenyte ring at 93 Magic.

Players can absorb up to 100,000 Ring of recoil charges into it, allowing it to reflect 10% of incoming damage back at the attacker without occupying the ring slot. Imbuing it at Nightmare Zone or Soul Wars doubles the defensive bonuses and adds +4 Prayer.

It is the premier ring for tank gear, the Inferno, Theatre of Blood healer rotations, and any high-damage PvM where defensive flat bonuses outweigh offensive strength.
