"An enchanted ring."

The ring of forging grants a 100% iron-smelting success rate at standard furnaces, replacing the usual 50% chance per ore. It carries 140 charges - each successful iron smelt consumes one - before crumbling to dust.

Charges are tracked per player, not per ring, so swapping rings does not refresh the counter. The ring is created by casting Lvl-4 Enchant on a ruby ring (49 Magic).

Without ring: ~70 iron bars per 140 ore | With ring: 140 iron bars per 140 ore. At the Blast Furnace iron already smelts at 100%, so the ring is unnecessary there - it shines at regular furnaces, especially for ironmen during early- to mid-game iron grinds.
