It substitutes for white feathers when fletching arrows, though the finished arrows retain their default appearance. Unlike standard feathers, red feathers cannot be used for fly fishing, limiting their practical role. The Fancy Clothes Store in Varrock both stocks and buys them for cosmetic crafting.
