Polished buttons are shiny ornamental buttons obtained by searching the chest in the H.A.M. dungeon during Death to the Dorgeshuun. They are part of the quest sequence used to fashion a fake statuette and trick the H.A.M. council, though they can also drop from pickpocketed H.A.M. members and chest searches in later activities.
