The bow cannot be wielded in its unstrung state and must be combined with a bowstring at the same Fletching level to produce a Magic shortbow, the level-50 Ranged shortbow famous for its Snapshot special attack. Members-only, the unstrung version is the standard high-volume intermediate for Fletching profit loops and ironman Ranged training pipelines.
