The lockpick is the standard Thieving skill tool used to open locked doors and chests across Gielinor. Some doors strictly require one, others simply benefit from a higher success rate when a lockpick is in inventory. Cheapest source is Martin Thwait's Lost and Found in the Rogues' Den (20 gp), unlocked at 50 Thieving and 50 Agility, with Bandit Camp bandits as the most popular drop source for mass-gathering.
