About Lime

"A fresh lime."

Lime is a citrus fruit used mainly in Gnome Cooking, where it is sliced or diced and added to gnome cocktails. It is also required during Fairytale I - Growing Pains to obtain the magic secateurs. Unlike most fruit, limes cannot be grown with Farming and must be bought, stolen from fruit stalls, or collected as gnome drops.

What lime is used for

Limes are a Gnome Cooking ingredient for cocktails such as the Short green guy and Wizard blizzard, prepared in the Gnome Restaurant minigame. Sliced with a knife into lime slices or diced into lime chunks, each processed piece heals 2 Hitpoints. A lime is also one of the items needed in Fairytale I - Growing Pains to receive the magic secateurs.

How to get limes

Limes cannot be farmed. Buy them from Funch's Fine Groceries and Grand Tree Groceries at the Grand Tree, or from the Pollnivneach general store. They also drop from gnomes in the Tree Gnome Stronghold and can be stolen from the fruit stalls in Hosidius and Kourend Castle courtyard with 25 Thieving.
