About Ensouled imp head

"The creature's soul is still in here."

Ensouled imp head is the basic-tier reagent in the Arceuus Reanimation spell chain, dropped by Imps. Casting Basic Reanimation on the head at the Dark Altar (or within ~15 tiles where it dropped) requires 16 Magic plus 4 body runes and 2 nature runes, granting 32 Magic XP. The reanimated Imp Ensouled Shade is a low-level NPC that drops 286 Prayer XP when killed, making it an entry-level alternative to bone burying for early Prayer training.

Market Strategy

  • Entry-level Prayer XP option for low Magic accounts.
  • More XP per cast than goblin heads but well below adept and master heads.
  • Niche demand; budget Ironman setups and very-early-game Prayer flippers.
  • Buy limit of 3,000 per 4 hours dwarfs typical trading volume.

Trading Tips

Stockpile when Imp slayer tasks dump supply; resell into Leagues / DMM Prayer rush events.
Pair purchases with body + nature rune batches to lock in cast cost.
Avoid heavy positions; XP/gp is dominated by higher-tier ensouled heads.
